Noise when slightly turning the wheel left or right?
Ok so ive noticed just recently that when im driving along at ANY speed if I SLIGHTLY cut the wheel to the left or right I get a type of bump/dunk type of noise. At first I thought One of my tires got low but today I checked them all and there all at the right psi......any suggestions.

bump dunk noise huh. does it just do it once then go away? check your cv boots or your steering rack/tie rod ends. also you can jack the car up with the wheels still on move them left to right or up and down to check for play.
no man its a constant noise...and as for the bump/dunk that about is good as i can describe it as its kinda hard to describe noises over the internet. thanks

Axles are usually a clicking noise. Are your tires rubbing something? Maybe the plastic under-cover things came loose and are rubbing against your tire when you turn.

i agree w/tippyman. been there done that, no more noise. but as pooby88 said, tires may be rubbing if u got some bigger rims and tires like 17's.

Could be a lot of things, but my best guess would be either ball joints or steering rack. Does "slightly turning the wheel" mean 1 inch of movement or 12 inches of movement on the steering wheel?
I have the same problem with a "clunk" noise when slightly turning the wheel and have diagnosed it to be the rack end bushing.
Also, does the noise occur when you're not moving at all? I.E. a dead standstill. If so, it's not your axles.

I have the same problem. My car makes a big noise(metal slipping on metal) from the front when I'm at a complete standstill, turing the wheel left to right it sounds like something is slipping and grinding. Axels fine, UBJ fine, LBJ looks OK. Check the steering rack bushing you say, I'll try. Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks
