little problem with h22 swap with the trans/body mount?
hmmm correct me if m wrong, but the H22 needs to have the tranny mount cut out like a K swap? ugh, im prolly wrong, either way, free bump
i guess your right, well at least that is what they previously did anyway when they installed the h22, and if i have to i'll just cut the ends off of the factory mount so as not to damage the paint, I GUESSSSSSSSSSS
thanks for the bump

There are lots of little issues that need to be addressed. I used the new Hasport mounts not sure what you have. You will indeed have to remove the passenger side mount bracket from the engine bay. That can be done a number of ways, such as using a drill, spot weld cutter, air chissel ect. The new mount will bolt in where the factory front roll mount on the pass. side. You will also need to dent your frame rail to clear the tranny. If you have a JDM h22 tranny w/ lsd, like I used, a dent isn't enough. I had to cut a notch out.
The fuel filter will need to be relocated, or as I reccomend replace your lines with an lines, and use a small low profile AN filter. It will get you allot more room in there. You will also need a slim fan. I don't think it is possible to retain power steering, we didn't anyway. The wiring is pretty basic. You will have to bolt your shock forks on the opposite side to clear the axles. The wiring, is basic, and then al you have to do is weld up some exhaust and your rolling.
Note: Hasport changed their mount design, and all ot of these issues were not issues before, but with the new generation mounts that give better axle geometry you have to do a few more mods.
