Default having problems with putting new axle in, need help asap

i just bought a brand new driver side axle and i am now puting the axle nut back on and when i go to torque it down nothing will spin, the axle, the rotor, nothing, am i doing something wrong?

did you make sure that the grooves in the tranny side is in properly... ???

how hard are you spinning the axle when you take the nut out.. effortless?

i would actually test this out... have someone kinda try to stimulate drive while you are in jack stands ... then see if that axle will move..
if it dont move its not in properly if it does move its in..

im using an air tool not sure of the psi... but i have to use the tool to get it off

should i tighten it anyway and try to drive it on jack stands?

ok i took this ring off and now when i tighten the nut it will spin, i think it was for abs. now i have another problem, i cant get the lower ball joint nut to line up so i think the axle is sticking out too far, but i compared it to the stock axle and its actually shorter..
