There are higher quality gasket, but it is a very reputable conversion kit, as long as you are like revving to 9k or something i wouldn't see it as a problem. Just don't be stupid.

It is.

Golden Eagle makes high quality parts. I am using a few of their parts and haven't been disappointed yet.

Ok so if i get this kit i shouldnt rev past 9k?...even the block is built for it.... i really dont plan on going more than 9500 or so....

what are some other companies that make a gasket that will work for the lsvtec...or would i just have to buy a gasket and drill the dowel holes?

thanks,
JMAN

You can rev to 9k if the motor is built for it. There is no question that Golden Eagle makes quality parts that can withstand a good amount of abuse.

You can modify a stock gasket to accomodate wider dowel pins with a drill press.

So ill be alright if i rev to no more than 9500...
The motor is completely built....w/ darton sleeves, je pistons, eagle rods, stock crank, clevite bearings, type r head, with skunk 2 valves, spring and retainers. about to get skunk 2 stage 2 cams i think..or i might just get some stock type r cause i plan to go turbo eventually..just need more $$$...

if your motor can handle the abuse than keep reving its just that some people do the ls/vtec swap with a gsr head and think that their block can handle the 8000rpm revs and then blow something but if your motor is build....VTACK!
