Alternator / Speed Sensor Fuse Keeps Blowing
I thought my VSS was bad, so I had went and replaced it, but it ended up doing nothing. I figured out the car keeps blowing the fuse under the dash. It's some type of electrical problem, where should I be checking? Engine harness, grounds? I don't know what locations. When it has a good fuse the car drives just fine, but it blows out within 10seconds of driving.
This is a follow up from another recent thread of mine. Hopefully someone has some ideas

I've had this same problem but it was because of my shitty wiring skills... so I just went back and checked and redid everything the right way and then everything worked fine. It was because of all sorts of bad connections, grounds, and other wires being too close and touching each other. (SEXUALLY)
96' Civic EX Automatic, factory D16Y8, car is like brand new. It's very odd this happened. I put a 7.5 fuse in like it has normally and blew it, and also blew a 10. I guess it's not a good idea to try and put the biggest fuse I can in there?
I think I finally figured it out. If my O2 sensors are bad on my exhaust, will it blow out my VSS fuse? I finally searched for the right thing and came up with everyones elses sitations. The Honda dealership said I was throwing a code for VSS, and both my O2 sensors. I just had my exhaust done a few weeks ago, Im thinking they did it?
that model of civic has a problem with the engone harness rubbing on the bracket that on the back of the IM and goes to the block. Check the harness there for damage, the wires "chaff" and ground then blows the fuses.
^^^what he said theres actually a service bulletin about it, check right by the oil filter..i actually had a customer's car with the same exact problem its good to work at honda access to bulletins
