guys.,

can i use my CX Stock Distributor on my B20VTEC Swap? Or can i use the B20 CRV Distributor on my B20VTEC Swap? Or am i gonna have to buy a gs-R (94-95) distriubutor?

if you are using a b series ecu then i think you need to use a distibutor from the same setup, i dont think it matters that the distributor came off a vtec motor or not, but it probably would be better. i will be using a 93 gsr dist on my obd1 b20vtec setup

no and no
*edit* you need the gsr one or b16a one, obd1 if your car is 92-95 and you are using an obd1 engine harness.

no you cannot use a cx distributor on a DOHC engine. any sohc d-series distributor will not work.. it mounts different.. the shaft and the housing is different. But everything esle on the distributor is the same. But a b-series distributor can be interchanged to work with any other b-series motor, but might have to chop off a leg to clear the vtec solenoid if you planning on using it on a vtec motor.

 

just get yourself a b-series.. the ecu pinouts are all the same.
