i ahve a 99 dc4 and in desperate need of a new exhaust. ive been thinking hks hi power but began thinking of the thermal classic or stealth exhaust. its going onto a pretty much stock dc4 but have future turbo plans in the future but not anytime soon. i was going to hold off on the exhaust but my pipes are falling apart. im looking for something with a mild deep sound, nothing extremely loud(reason for avoiding apexi). so between the 3 which is best for a nearly stock dc4 or personal preference? i will upgrade to 3" after i get a turbo so my 3 choices will work until then. i may do i/h/e and highflow cat and maybe get some cams before working on a turbo so it will be a mild NA car til then.

 

Just go to an exhaust shop and get some custom piping instead and see if you can save your muffler or just pick up a used muffler, or a type R muffler since you want to have a mild NA build for now. It will probably be the cheapest route.

I have a thermal on my 98 gsr, very quiet and not obnoxious. Also have had the hks, sounds great and looks great.
