Default Weird valvetrain noise (Help)

Hi

Some weeks ago i've installed Toda spec A and itr springs on a new head and since then the head is making a weird noise. I've set the valve lash to toda recommendation (0.20mm) on both sides, i've already tried tight lashes but the noise remains. Can the problem be the lma's?

Can anyone help me identifying the possible reason of that noise

Here is the link for the video:

I dont know what the hell that is but it sounds very bad. You can hear the normal taping then that xtra noise. Almost sounds like something is loose because the speed of the noise is not constant. Maybe take it apart again and check the torque on everything.

I had removed the valve cover several times during last weeks to visualy inspect cams and rocker arms, i can't find any suspicious wear on them and the bolts are all tight. The only thing i've nottest so far is that when i press the middle rocker arm some are "harder" than others.

I agree. It just sounds like something is rattling around in there. I have never heard a noise like that before even with the valvetrain upgraded.

How is the noise of bad lma's? In all visual inspections i've made to the head, i didn't found anything wrong or something that shouldn't be there. I'll check it better next time.

Thanks for the replys so far

I had the same thing a while back... sounds like a loose nut bouncing around inside the valvetrain... removed the valve cover... checked valve lash... no signs of odd wear/loose parts/anything...

By several different shops I was told: LMA's, dizzy bearing, loose timing belt, valve lash, bent valves...

no-one could tell me what the hell it actually was...

free bump for the mutually confused...

I ended up having several very slightly bent valves, I'm in the process of putting it all back together and will update once it's running whether or not the noise is gone...

With everything back together the noise is gone... Before you go ripping into stuff I"d make sure you don't have some tweaked valves... leakdown...
