Default anyone get good radio reception?

Does any one get good radio reception in there ef? Both crx that I have been in get horrible reception. Is there anyway to fix this? I don't like sitting at stop lights with my hand on the antenna so that I get at least decent reception.

HAHA. I still want the antenna because I daily drive my car and it is always nice to have something to listen to. I can't really say it is the area because I have been around 100miles north and south of my town and never had good reception even in bigger cities. The antenna is in perfect condition too.

my antenna has some slack near the rear of my deck and if I jiggle it away from the metal of the center console it gives better reception. Just zip tie it away from the metal. Might want to try this first before the radio shack idea.

I will look into this. I was trying to get a cd in today b/c i was going for about an one hour drive and there is a cd stuck in the sterio. I don't know how to get it out. My brother and I have decent sterios in our cars and neither of us get good reception, so it's not that they are cheap ones. How much does an inline FM amp cost?
