I just figured out I have a auto ECU, and I saw that you can convert this pretty easy, yet I cant find any instructions on how to do it. I hope someone on here knows know to do this. I'm not really interested in people who say "I think you have to...." because I dont want to take any chances on killing this ECU. I wanna get my car running right without anymore down time. Basically what I did was a SiR-G swap into a 92 Civic DX HB. So, if anyone has any idea how to make this happen.... PLEASE let me know!!!
I've heard u need to take out a chip in the ecu, though I don't have the details, I would try searching and see what u come up with cause I think this has been discussed b4. Bump for some more info.
Unless you are very proficient with soldering, I would highly advise against doing this. I have a friend that does this on the side, and it is complex and not for the average joe who isn't familiar with circuit boards and schematics (of course I don't know if your experienced or not, no harm meant if you are).

Shmaa has the answer! Thanks! Thanks to all who replied too! Another question though... Would this make my car not run right? I have a DC header on there, but the O2 isnt hooked up yet because there is no bung on it, so I am waiting on my cat to come in which has it on there. But it will start up and idle fine for about 3 seconds, then it runs real rough, kinda like a harley. I was thinking at first that it was doing it because the O2 wasnt hooked up, so the fuel/air ratio wasnt right, or it was because of the fact there isnt any back pressure. Let me know what you all think...

It's the fact that the O2 isn't hooked up. Cars usually run rough without an O2, just because the a/f isn't reading at all.

Well here is the update to this... I hooked up the O2, but I also found out that it wasnt running right because of that. It was actually the VTEC solenoid. I unplugged that, and it ran smooth, exept for the fact that there is no top end at all. I posted a new thread on this as well to try and get some answers.
I also opened up my ECU, and it looks nothing like what that links shows me to do... So I am still in search on how to convert this to a manual ECU.
