Default HELP PLEASE...!!! VTEC Comes and goes...

I have a VAFC which the tech got tuned while on the dyno and has not been touched other than for setting vtec point (by 100-200 rpms)... Instead of vtec engaging at 5800rpm its not hitting until sometimes over 6500-7000rpm and then will fall out of it and kick right back in.... It's engaging and then dis-engaging upon full acceleration.... Any ideas as to what could be causing this. The VAFC is set at 5800rpm but its sure ain't seeing it that early..... I'm stumped and have searched. Thanks in advance guys.... ANY help or suggestions is very much appreciated.

You have to be pretty low on oil for VTEC not to engage. I've been at the very edge of the dip stick and VTEC still engaged everytime...

Yeah same here, I've noticed that if my oil is just at the end of the stick vtec beings to burp.

Then again, my JRSC ITR eats oil like a **** when I'm in boost.
