Default Knock when I turn the wheels

I took 2 quick 90 degree turns yesterday and now I hear a knock sound when I turn the wheels. Seems to be the front right wheel but haven't had the time to check properly. I think its the Bolt joints but im a noob to mechanics. Any suggestions?
And yes I searched

Its the CV joint of the axel. Get a new one and it will fix it. You can find rebuild ones for fairly good prices. My car does the same thing but i can't afford to fix it right now

How much does this cost? Excluding labor. I will probably be doing it with a cousin thats a mechanic. Also is it dangerous if I keep driving my car even if I dont drive it hard?

you should be able to find rebuilt ones from an auto parts shop for about $50 each, assuming that's it

could be those too, but I doubt it.

If it's it a repeated knocking as the car moves along, it's more than likely the CV joint. If it's just a single knock when you go over a bump, then it's a ball-joint.

Well when it happened that night as I was driving back home, every time I would turn (slowly) it would knock once in the beginning of the turn, then another knock would randomly come as long as the wheel was turned. Once I put them straight, the knock is gone. Just hope it wont cost too much, as I also have to fix some scratches on my door that an idiot made while parking beside me last week... damn MINIVANS !!!

Is it me or is there always something to fix?

Thanks for you help guys (and girls, if there are some)

Apart from that...
Last week a 4th gen passed me and the driver was a hot chick that winked at me. I felt all warm inside, not because she was a hot chick, but because she was hot in a prelude! lol

that is the cv joint
it sounds a lot harder than it really is
if your cousin is a mechanic it should go fairly easy

it is simple, i changed mine in like 20 mins after getting the tire off... you loosen the upper strut, then take off the braket that runs and braces the control arm, after that you there is 2 or 3 more bolts and then loosen the axle bolt, might need a good leverage bar. and the strut will pull foward and tilt, after that it is just pulling it out and putting the new one in. I was going about it a hard way the first time and looked at how it was put together and unfornately the first one i bought and put it was defective so i had to re-order another one...like i said it took me around 20 mins to replace...i dont recommend pulling the wheel hub and rotor off b/c you might chance messin up the ball joint that connects the 2. Just remember pull strut down, swivel strut and replace.

*UPDATE

Jacked the car up on Saturday and its the stabalizer bar on the right front wheel thats broken, so now everytime I hit a bump or turn its knocking against the metal. As I understand, its not bad to drive around even though its broken. I was told that its there to stabalize the car when turning at high speeds. I will order the piece this week and change both sides just in case the other side wants to break off too.
Thanks for everybody's help
