Default Hondata Help! Kinda long, bear with me... I Posted on the hondata forum but I guess everyone is scar

Someone has got to know something...

I need someones help in the worst way...I got my Stage 4 back in January and when I was ready to hook it up at the end of march, Nothing happened, the car wouldn't even prime the engine. So I sent it back and about 3 weeks later (now, I just got it last thursday) it comes back and hopefully ready to run. I burned the eeprom for a base of the p30 settings ( I have a stroked B18b with a type r head and all the goodies in my 93 civic si) and put the chip into the soocket, turned over the car and idle for about 30 seconds before it shut off...I tried to turn it back over but it wouldn't and my interface box started blinking slowly. I read the trouble shooting section and tried to burn another program. 30 minutes later I tried to start it up and the blue box was still flashing and the CEL was still on...so I tried to reset the CEL and the Box and it wouldn't work...Still!!! I plugged the rev set button into both sockets and it still wouldn't reset...not to mention the battery being disconected for an hour. So I thought maybe it was my car, so I tried it in an unmodified 92 GS-R with the stock rom p61 file on the chip. It turned over, but would only rev to 4000 rpm and it was blowing mad amounts of gas out the back and the idle sounded like I had a toda spec C cam in it. Once again the reset did not work, so I think the only other thing that it could be is the blue box... I pluged it back up to my car to see if I was throwing any codes and I was throwing a 41 which is a O2 heater code...It's a brand new O2 sensor....so I doubt it is the problem...Can someone please help me, so I don't have to send my unit back again and wait another month before I can try to turn my car over.

Talk about a grown man wanting to cry...I've spent $1300 on the Stage 4 and an Emulator and all I have to show for it is a pretty blue box and a couple of cool lookin gadgets like the shift light and the button, that don't work.

Did you try cutting the jumper to see if the ECU works okay with the stock internal memory?
