I have a 95 Accord EX 4 cyl. After I start the engine I hear a humming noise for about 2-3 seconds that sounds like an electronic pump presurizing or something to that effect. This is after I start the engine, not before. It is definately coming from under the hood but I can't tell what it is. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

 

Maybe you could raise the hood and have someone start the car to help you track down the noise.

Ahhh yes the ABS pump.. that makes me miss my 2000 Prelude, which made the same hum after a startup

 

Thanks for your replies, if it is the abs pump, does this mean it needs replacing soon?
