Help! Brake line trouble!
Alright, while replacing my brake lines I failed to use a flare wrench on my passanger front hard line and I stripped it pretty damn good.. I now have a 10mm flare wrench for future use but I still have a stripped fitting. So, what's the easiest way to remove and replace the fitting? I was thinking I could just snip the line and replace the end, but is there anything special I need to know about doing that? Any help would be great! Thanks.
Vice grips are the only way to go on that one...
to re-do the line you'd need a flaring tool and a new fitting. From what I've heard, flaring can be a bitch... you may want to practice on some junkyard lines first... and get a fitting while you're there...

I made the same mistake a while back before I knew of the wonderful properties a flare nut wrench posessed. For as often as I replace brake lines, vice grips fit the bill for that one mangled nut...

Cool, hope it was a double flare.
