Default Need Help

I'm installing SS lines (finally). How do I get the OE brake line disconnected from the clip in the wheel well (right after connecting to the hard line)?

Need help now please.

It is a C-clip. Get a pair of large jaw pliers, clamp on the raised lip, and PULL towards you.

Or slip joint plyers. Spray some PB blaster in there too, that helps.

...and when disc the original brake lines, the size is between a 9mm and 10mm, so i'd say use an adjustable wrench

Thanks guys...

Do the holes in the banjo bolts need to be facing a particular direction? Logic tells me they should be up and down put the helms says nothing about that...

The orientation of the banjo fittings should be dictated by the orientation of the line once the brackets are in and the notch in the caliper for the line, i.e. it only wants to go in one way but it doesnt matter which.

I thought about them for a little bit when I put on my SS lines.....and then I just torqued them down. No problems yet, and I don't expect any.

Just do a THOROUGH bleed job, and then again a few days later after everything is bedded in. Mine felt spongy at first, but as the pads set in, it firmed up a little. After the second bleed, it was as firm as I expected.

Thanks. I'm not talking about the banjo fitment but the bolt itself. There is a hole running perpindicular through the bolt, does this need to be lined up with something or can I just put the bolt on and torque it down?
