hey whats up.. i have a ls vtec in my 92 civic.. i used a obd2 wire harness versus a obd1.. i have a obd2 distributer and a obd1 alternator.. but besides that my car isnt reving out all the way and the idle is irratic.. its open head and keeps misfireing out the muffler... i cant get it to rev past 2 grand but the weird thing is when i first start it sometimes is alows me to rev it out completely for a few seconds then it starts bouncing idle at 2 grand and doesnt respond to throttle.. does anyone know what it can be?

 

which ecu you have, Try a diffrent ECu,

 

i am using a stock p28.. but the weird thing is my friend used that in his car and it ran fine and he has practically the same setup as me the only difference is his wire harness is obd1
