Weird brake problem 2
Hi everyone,
Ever since I got this car a couple months ago, it had a brake problem and it seems to be getting worse.
The brake seems to work fine when I'm driving or if the rpms are higher than 2000. At a stop or whenever the rpm is below 1500, the brake pedal will completly sink to the floor and then finally work.
Im not sure how the brake booster works but Im guessing thats the problem.
My friends tell me its a simple air in the brake lines but I've had that problem before and I've already bleed the system.
Can anybody give me a heads up.
Thanks

It's definitely the master cylinder. A bad booster would make your pedal really stiff, and air in the lines would make your brakes spongy. Sinking pedal is a leaking cup seal in the MC, which is replaced as a whole unit instead of just replacing the seal (the MC isn't easily serviceable so it's cheaper and easier to replace the whole thing)
