brake problem
I realize this isnt honda related but im sure the principles behind the brake system are the same...
My friend's 88 corolla has a brake issue, and I am thinking something along the lines of master cylinder or brake booster is bad. When you pump the brake, air starts to bubble out from the master cylinder into the brake fluid reservior. There is also an airy sound coming from the brake booster area when we pumped the brakes. There is no pressure at all and bleeding the brake lines didnt help. The reservior never ran dry either. When we bled the brakes it actually started making more air come out of the lines, like gobs of air bubbles that would never stop coming. Anyone know how air is getting into the brake system? I am perplexed at how air is bubbling out of the brake reservior. thanks
