k i dont have a DART TALL DECK
i have a GOLDEN EAGLE SLEEVED 85MM GSR WITH A GOLDEN EAGLE .980" DECKPLATE.
THAT TIMING BELT DOES NOT FIT. I TRIED IT LAST NIGHT
it goes over 1 cam gear and then its like at least a inch to short to fit over the 2nd one.

i just calculated it.
your deck is only 14mm taller then stock which is .5512". mine is almost DOUBLE yours at .980" ( or 24.89mm ) taller then stock.
so what now?

Does your block have the GEM adjustable water pump idler? If not, good luck, because your gonna have to go custom..... And thats in the thousands of dollars range.... From my research....
just curious, who makes your deckplate? perhaps they can steer you towards where to get a belt that works with their kit...there has to be a belt for it, otherwise their kit is useless. good luck!
GEM makes the deckplate and used to mfg. a adjustable water pump idler that allows you to use a Gs-R belt. I have it on mine and it just fits....

so yah i got ANOTHER belt and it fit pretty damn good until i lined up the crank and the cam gears, then on the intake side when i tried slipping it on, it sits on top of like 3 or 4 teeth then goes back to normal, this is the only spot it does this in.
