I just bought some new ARP headstuds but realized they were the ones for a b18c1 or b18c5 motor. My motor is a jdm b16a. The ones i got are 11mm and bigger than my oem b16 ones, I was wondering will this cause a problem, the guy i got them from said he used the same headstuds before on b16 motors all the time.... Any help would benefit me, jus wanna make sure when i go put them in, that i dont have a problem

i have arp headstuds for a gsr and running them in my ls vtec with a b16 sirII head.

 

GSR arp headstuds are meant for ls vtec setups too cause basically the blocks deck height are the same. Since the b16 block deck height is smaller and i got gsr arp headstuds which are longer than my b16 oem ones, wont that cause a problem, need help asap....

 

theey will be ok...i've used several sets of GsR's studs on B16's..

you'll be ok..

 

no clearance problems or anything cuz of not using all the thread of the studs
