Default Taking Rotors Off?

How would I go about taking off my rotors? I think they are warped so I wanted ot take the to Autozone and have them cut them (or at least check if they are warped). First off, is this a good idea or should I just take hte car to the dealer? Second, how do I get the rotor off, I am looking in the Helms but not seeing where it tells you how to do this.

Think I figured how to get the rotor off now; Helms 18-11; but still curious as to whether I should do this myself or I should first have the dealer check if the rotors are warped. Suggestions?

Take off the two 17mm bolts that hold the caliper to the knuckle. Then use an impact screwdriver with a phillips head bit to remove the two phillips screws that hold the rotor to the hub. Or you can do the above in reverse order. The rotor should come off fairly easily after that.

If your rotors are warped, replace them. Cheap insurance.

Get a set of Brembo blanks. Pretty reasonable. Try Colletimotorsports.com
