I have the dc sports 4-2-1 header part number AHS6507 i paid 300 canadian for it, but people are saying 4-1 is better and the one i have is pretty much useless...can someone help me?

 

4-1 is high end power(higher rpm) ans 4-2-1 is lower(low rpm or tourqe)

 

It just depends on what you are doing and your setup. I prefer 4-1 because i think its useless to try and had touque to a honda motor. It you will get better high end power with 4-1 but lack slightly bottem end. The 4-2-1 has more midrange power but as little potenal topend if your going to NA mod your car!!

 

why does everyone say dc is junk?

 

I dont know. I have always used dc headers and no problems. Its pretty much the only i would use. Its has proven perforance and they dont cost an arm and or a leg.

 

on some applications, its design is very similar to stock, which isnt exactly something that adds performance.

 

My header looks nothing like stock. The Dc is huge!!
