Pin stripe removal tips
Depending on how old the paint is, it might be a bad idea to take them off. IMO the best way is to buy a 3M Eraser Wheel from a paint supply store. It will take them right off, just don't hold it in one place for too long. You could also heat them with a hair dryer or a heat gun and scrape them off with a plastic razor. WD-40 will take off the sticky residue left over.

Yeah, WD-40 will remove the adhesive. I do not like it though. I take vinyl off **** all the time for work. If you use something like goof off or goo gon. Be careful that **** is very abrasive. I bought some of that **** to take some vinyl off of a sign. Will it took some of the paint off and I had to take it back to the shop to be repainted.
I have pin striping on my pick up. One side is peeling real bad and the other side is gone. I dunno why. I am guessing the previous owner removed it and got tired.

goo gone, heat gun/hair blower, old credit card
don't use anything else, wd40 will mess up the paint if you leave it on long enough.
make sure you wash down the goo gone real good and wax the area.
on older car, sometime the pinstripe is putted on after the paint, which will be covered with clearcoat, you should be fine with your honda tho

heat gun with a plastic scrapper also dont sit too long in one spot with the heat. and mineral spirits will be fine for the adhesive, the spirits are very mild on paint
on accordinglydone.com I made a post about it I used
heat gun
wd-40
goo gone
razor blades
paper towels
worked fairly well though it's now obvious where the striping was, i get the shadow effect

Turtle wax makes a bug/tar remover...works 1000 times better than GOO GONE or WD 40, I used a plastic scraper for the sticker and the bug/tar remover for the sticky shizz...took me 2hrs to get everything off and that is including an entire car with pin stripe over pin stripe(freaking dealerships). the bug/tar comes in a CAN with a white top, sold at advanced auto *****, use 2-3 terry cloths and it comes off NICELY...I used a rubbing compound to get the residue/discoloration...
