hid ballast help....

Default hid ballast help....

i have a set of hella hids (same as bmw,audi)
one of my ballast turns the headlight one, but flickers off after about 20 seconds......when i turn off/on, the ballast powers up the bulb again, and same problem.....about 20 seconds later, it will flicker off

anybody experienced this problem before??
any feedback would be helpfull

sounds like you bulb is going bad. try swapping the bulbs from one side to another and see if it changes.

if its suddenly ok and the the problem moved to the other side its the bulb. if not i would double check the wiring..bad connections or low voltage might cause it also.
if all else fails it might be the balla$t

my guess is the bulb though

nah does the same thing with the other side bulb......something is funny with the ballast i think

Try a new ground point. If that doesnt work, try a different power source or run a relay and power it directly from the battery.
