KNOCK SENSOR, replacing it... what type of sealent do I use? the stuff that new ones come with, what

replacing my knock sensor and was woundering do I put tread lock on it or some type of seal on the treads before screwing it in. Thanks
You can put loc-tite or something similar. On my old B16, the knock sensor kept loosening up and throwing a code.
