Just bought a B18 integra

Just one question, whats the difference between a b18 and b16?

b16 has vtec whereas b18 doesnt but has more torque. And the obvious the b18 is bigger by .2 liters

So dollar for dollar I bought the better engine? Or do both engines have there different qualities?

they are both good engines, cuz they are both hondas

but you dont have VTEC NOW!!!!

B18 is too vague... The b18 comes is many flavors...

B18C1 engine (GS-R) VTEC
B18C5 engine (Type R) VTEC
B18B1 engine (GS, LS, RS) No VTEC

What model is your teg?

Is your car b18c1, b18c, b18c5, b18b, or b18a...if its one of the first three...then

...if not, then u get one

....but if you consider b16 and have in the back of your mind to do an ls/vtec then good choice...but b16 is factory assembled with vtec, and the b18a/b dont come with vtec whatsoever.
