after i installed my boost gauge, i hear a whistling sound when i'm close to 0 vac. my car runs fine, but its just annoying. Im not boosted yet, but i soon will be and i don't want anything to go wrong when i do my boost upgrade. Wtf is going on?!?!?

Do you have a vacuum leak somewhere that you're hearing? What happens if you just unplug the gauge line from where it's hooked up and take out the T connector temporarily..does the sound go away? If it stays, maybe something got bumped. When mine whistles it's because there's something wrong wtih the intake..it's come off or something.

 

yeah. i havent taken out the T connectors or messed with the gauge, but i will tell you this. My intake is from Ebay and its missing a tbolt clamp where the pipe meets the air filter. But it sound seems like its coming from the inside.
