Default Skunk2 Manifold and JDM R Header power gains???

I have a 95 JDM GSR motor, i recently bought the skunk2 manifold and JDM R header, my current mods are aem, dc 4-1, apex n1, can i expect a huge gain from the header and manifold, also should i get a chipped ecu ive been told i wont see any real noticeable gains with the skunk manifold until i get a single runner ecu.

running a gsr ecu on single isn't really good only becuase of low vtec (4.4k rpm), this will cause the car to bog down and subsequently some power loss. but no worries you can rechip your ecu to higher VTEC around 5000-5700rpm instead of buying a rechipped ecu

I have a similar setup 95 jdm gsr motor, i/h/e and I have my ecu chipped with skunk2 program, rite know vtec kicks in at 5500rpm and Im thinking of getting a skunk2 manifold is my vtec point at 5500 fine??
or would I lose or gain power with the skunk2 manifold also isn't the skunk2 program designed to work with the skunk2 manifold??

My GSR has never thrown an IAB code when my secondaries were unplugged, also another option to a new ECU, is a VAFC or Field VTEC controller.
If you are running a JDM ecu the field will remove that speed cut too.

Well i had the JDM header installed this past weekend and the difference is night and day...damn! My dc 4-1 collector is ridiculous compared to the R header...Thing is im running with a straight pipe right now also...what cat can i get to fit the header??? Motor accelerates alot smoother now, and 1st stage vtec kicks alot louder and harder now..2nd stage around 5800k its more raspy but with no cat its mostly the exhaust. This weekend im going to install the Skunk manifold ill post my opinion on that install. So im guessing i should just send my ecu to be re-programmed to run a single runner program.

What resonator is available to quiet it down a bit? looking for something 12-14 inches in length. Any suggestions?
