why are you revving your d15 up to 6800 rpm, stop driving like a ricer.
Give more info, check engine lights, how does the car run otherwise. The simplest thing, is the cluster coming from a good running car? Post more info so we can help

I have got a b18c4, and its supposed to be redlined, its VTEC ffs
It only lags behind a little bit (by a couple of hundred RPMs), but its annoying.
I have connected the green wire to the orginal rev counter, the power to the ignition, the earth to a chassis point, and the white to the rear fog light switch. It all works fine. The engine runs fine, etc etc. Its only done 45,000 miles. Its an EM1.
Need anymore info?

Your tach is fine, all tachs are usually off by a few hundred RPMs, you shouldnt even be able to tell.

Check your wires. Put a cluster that you know works in there, and see if it is your cluster. Borrow one from a friend.
