it should not since the oem, whether its and itr or not has a rounded end with a donut usining spring loaded bolts. Most after market exhausts mate up flat using a gasket and nuts and bolts.

its weird though, they sell just axle backs that are suppose to just bolt on but you are right, I dont get it, they say it will be a direct fit, but it isnt
