Default need fpr fitting

the aem fpr wont fit with my edelbrock intake mani, i got a brass 90 degree elbow to run the line and works but the brass fitting is very loose so it leaks.

where can i get one with right thread pattern with 90 degree, can't extend more than 1/2" when fully on screwed to fpr or will hit intake mani. (tried hardware stores and they have jack, only one kinda thread pattern and standard sizes only)

I believe the AEM uses a machine thread which should be available at lowes or somewhere like that. You could ofcourse always retap the hole or use some type of sealant to prevent the leaking.

you probably cross-threaded the fitting into the regulator. the threads on the fpr are -6 for an o-ring fitting. i never had a problem with using normal teflon on fuel fittings.

teflon gets really thin when contact with gasoline, wouldn't even matter if i put some there, i'll try thread lock. threads are fine, not stripped or anything, the only locking i get is when the fitting hits the washer and wont turn anymore, it drips.

nevermind i didn't realize how tight of a fit it was. you need the adaptor that jackson racing sells. turns the fpr around 45 degrees.
