He said Coilovers...I have the omnis...they work fine but are stiff as hell so they are not real smooth for the street. cant really say one way or the other on the TEINs..havent tried them yet

what about Tokico Illuminas with H&R springs? is that a good combo for a smooth street ride with more aggresive handeling?

Which springs? Sport OE, Sport, or Race?

Sport/Race and Illumina's will suit you well.

Illuminas are good. I haven't used H&R, but I've heard they're stiff.

For a DD I wouldn't pay the money for a GC/Koni setup. That's retarded on a street car.

I'm running Tokico Illuminas & Tein S-Techs on the street.

Koni and Eibach are better than Teins and Omni.

not to just throw out another suggestion, but I have omni sleeve overs and kyb adjustable shocks on my sol, the ride is firm but not stiff enough to make your head hit the roof everytime you go over a bump in the road. if you have the money though, konis and GCs would be better

koni and GC over omnis any day. i have omnis, theyre way too damn stiff for the street, and my collar broke, so i dont really trust their products any more.

i have the tein type flex's for my 00si and loved them. 16 different levels of ajustment, easy to install, great for street and ride close to stock smoothness or maby a little smoother they have been great no signs of rust after a year+ of all weather including snow and salt. 1300$ and well worth it, no regrets. and if you want you get a edfc to control damper from inside car.
