what kinda racing you into, i would get a setup to be able to change for diff types of racing, also depends on what kind of shocks you use

He said Coilovers...I have the omnis...they work fine but are stiff as hell so they are not real smooth for the street. cant really say one way or the other on the TEINs..havent tried them yet

the omnis are stiff...i tried the omni 6way adj...stiff but not for streets...the teins....i dont have them but i've riddin in them...pretty nice...if your not looking towards the teins i'd recommend Ground Controls with kyb adj (like mines, rides a like a charm handling is great ) or GC's with koni yellows...

Illuminas are good. I haven't used H&R, but I've heard they're stiff.
For a DD I wouldn't pay the money for a GC/Koni setup. That's retarded on a street car.
I'm running Tokico Illuminas & Tein S-Techs on the street.

Re: i cant pick between two... (Earthworm Jim)
not to just throw out another suggestion, but I have omni sleeve overs and kyb adjustable shocks on my sol, the ride is firm but not stiff enough to make your head hit the roof everytime you go over a bump in the road. if you have the money though, konis and GCs would be better

Re: i cant pick between two... (MugenManR)
i have the tein type flex's for my 00si and loved them. 16 different levels of ajustment, easy to install, great for street and ride close to stock smoothness or maby a little smoother they have been great no signs of rust after a year+ of all weather including snow and salt. 1300$ and well worth it, no regrets. and if you want you get a edfc to control damper from inside car.
