Default H22A/Civic axle ?'s

i finally got my H22 in my 92 civic cx. i'm using the hasport mount kit along with a 93 accord int. shaft and 93 integra axles. the problem is: the axles are angled. from the int. shaft, the axles angle toward the back of the car into the hub. my question is: how does this affect the life of the axles? am i going to be breaking axles up the yin yang?

Kewl I will be doing this swap within a few weeks once I find a suitable hatch to put the engine into.. What made you go with Hasport instead of HCP?? And what were the major problems issues you have had with the swap so far, aside from the angled axles..??

i dunno who HCP is, that's why i got hasport. the only problem i've had so far was getting the rear bracket onto the rear mount. it was such a bitch. other than that, no real big problems.

does anyone have an answer to my initial question?

i don't think it will be a big deal unless they are angled a lot.
don't think you axles will be in jeopardy.
cv joints my get hot and crack and break and all that good stuff tho
maybe someone will have the answer

Khoalie - they're not angled a rediculous amount but it's noticeable.

Malachi - all their H22/Civic mount kits do this. the motor can't be pushed back more towards the firewall either because vacuum hoses and electrical connection clearances will become an issue (especially with an STR manifold).

That is interesting because that is the first time I am hearing of such an issue/problem...
