Default H22 EGH2 Axle question ( Yes I've Searched )

I had a question on OE axles

Are there any combos that work?

Im going to test and measure and see if I can find something that does work until my hasport axles arrive.

My tests will be

2 90-93 Teg Axles
2 88-89 Teg Axles
Accord Int Shaft
Lude Int Shaft

From what I gather these are the only pieces that may or may not work.

Has ANYONE ever got an OE combo to work with EGH2 Axles?

If not can ANYONE measure their hasport or DSS axles and give me the total lengths?

I have hasport EGH2 mount kit.

so... H22A in EG

I want to find OE axles that are close enough to fit until my axles arrive..

If I cant find anything close I wait. Im going to attempt and go get some axles from a wrecker later on but if someone has measurements on hand or something they can measure it would save me a trip across town.

If you want to use a OEM combo without modifying any axles, you NEED to get accord halfshaft. Then get both driver and passenger 90-93 integra axles and they will go right in. Don't need to modify axles in any way or form. I Know this becasue I have that combo in my eg h22 hatch.

But the EGH2 axles are made for the prelude halfshaft, so you might just want to wait for them to arrive so you don't need to swap out halfshafts twice.

With EGH2 mounts yes. That's the OEM combo.

But If you want to run the EGH2 axles, you will need to switch back to the prelude halfshaft when you do.

Also for some reason people say you need the prelude inner cv joint for passenger integra axle for it to lock into the transmission, But I did not. Mine is locked in and never popped out. Maybe I'm lucky or I have no idea but I did not need it.

Just do what I said It will work, if the inner joint is needed, use it, you will be golden in the end.

Straight from hasport website..

http://www.hasport.com/tech/in...s.htm

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Hasport &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Use 90 up Accord Intermediate shaft with 90-93 Integra axles.

To use the Prelude intermediate shaft a shorter left-hand axle with a female inner joint must be used. To construct the proper left-hand axle use 94 GSR left-hand axle inner and outer joints on an 86-89 Integra axleshaft.

the reason to swap the inner cv joint is to make a better seal on the tranny i have had some leak and some not leak when not changing the inner cv joint i always change it now so i dont have to worry about leaks

It fits in there pretty much perfect , I havn't had any problems and have had the swap since april and runs great still, never popped out or snapped or anything. If I was you just get the hasports and call it a day

But other then that, it looks good man. Very clean engine, you got a good one! Be ready for some nice torque. Good luck on finishing it.

Also, what is that stuff you sprayed on the exahust manifolds that made them white? Does it protect them from rust?

i heard that if you are running a slammed civic with a b series swap in it it is best to run the 90-93 teg axles cause they r longer. sooooo if your going to be running a h2b then you allready have height issues with the h series being big so the 90-93 would be the best for you to use.
