NEED HELP ASAP!!! Car Won't Start!!!!
Having some problems with my 1992 Honda Prelude (H23A1):
When I go to start the car I get full power to everything, but I hear one click and nothing happens. I pulled the starter off and it wouldn't jump when I tried running power to it, so I got another starter and checked it out. The starter would start spinning once I gave power to it, so I put it on the car and the same thing happened. One click sound, and that was it. Still full power to everything, but nothing else. The battery is only a few months old, and the starter I got came off another working motor. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

its something between the ignition key to the starter...start there
you can double check by powering the starter in the engine bay with the key in the on position.

I already did that with the starter by hooking jumper cables up to the pos and neg side of the battery and than hooking the other end on to the pos and neg side of the starter. Again when I did that the old starter didn't do anything, but the new starter was spinning.

Car Push Starts, Checked the Starter Relay and it's fine, Tested the Starter and it's fine too.....what the hell is going on? Here's a little more background on the situation:
Went downstairs and started the car up just fine. Forgot something in my apartment, so I turned the car off, ran upstairs to get it, and than came back down. When I tried to start the car again it just clicked. Checked all the fuses and they are fine too. This is really confussing the **** out of me!

My friend had this problem not too long ago, doubt it will be the same for you though. His positive wire to the started looked okay but when we started inspecting things more we found it was almost completely severed in the middle. Replaced that and all was well.
Started requires a lot of curent (i.e. big f'in wires to it for more juice) so any problems at all with any of the wires should be looked into. The signal wire is the exception, just make sure it's connected.
