i just got my ecu chipped and vtec put in my p06. it is set up for 450cc injectors, a 2step at 4000rpm and vtec engagement at 4500. My wiring harness hasnt got here yet so i was like, what the hell, lemme put it in my friend's gsr and see how it acts... no 2step... and no vtec. i see that a chip was put in and there was supposed to be a basemap put on. bould there be problems b/c that guy doesnt have 450's and stuff?? could it be just running too rich or something? i have the ecu open in front of me and i see the chip installed, but where do i look to see if the vtec conversion is in there, i dont know where to look. could vtec and the 2step not work b/c the basemap is for a turbo b16 with 450's and an intake & tb?? or should it work anyway?
