HELP HELP HELP ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS WEIRD??????

hey whats up guys and girls i have a bone stock 95 civic cpe runs fine but every so often when driving it you hit the brakes and the seatbelt lite starts flashing and the speedometer drops to "0" until you let off the brake it also feels like a little sputter starts when it happens

sounds like you have a short. i have to tell ya when i bought a pair of aftermarket taillights the bulb harness was wired wrong and the brake light would always be on then when i'd push the brake all my dash lights would go out. sounds like a short to me

ive checked all conections in the cluster and at relays checked the grounds that i could find
also the car is bone stock not even an aftermarket head unit

soundsl ike an engine ground, it really soundslike your car's ignition is turning off for a second, that's waht creates the bog & the seatbelt light on startup, it just might not be fast enough to start the whole diagnostic, it would also explain the guage dropping to 0..

go out get some like 5gage wire and a bunch of conecters redue all the frounds on your engine and it never hurts to add extra the more u got the better u are put them everywhere plus it looks alot better

How did you solve it? By re-doing your grounds connections?
I was about to say it sounds very much like a problem I was having... but you seemed to have fixed it so I'll keep my mouth shut.
