Default overheating

Its 90' degrees out side and sometimes it starts to overheat. I have a b18b in my 91 crx s, I it never went in to the red area but it goes above normal. Then I will pull over stop shut the car off and let it sit for a couple mins and start it back up and it is in the same spot then I start to drive and it goes back down to normal and it wont over heat anymore for a while any one have anyidea wwhat the problem is thanks

colants full and fan runs all the time

Ok, Your Radiator has two hoses, one on top one on the bottom. After Driving around for a while does the bottom one get hot? Replace your Thermostat You can do it your self, Will not cost more than 15 bucks.

both hose do get hot and htey both have pressure in them

Try Re-Bleeding your Radiator system. Might have some bubbles (air) in there.

dont replace it!
best thing to do actualy is to remove it permanently.
just remove it for good, works best!
liek said above is should take 15-30 min.

Having water/coolant running around the motor constantly is not a good idea. Every morning start, your car will take longer to warm up.

But than again, do what you want.

i have a b16 sir2...same problem. im gettin a custom fluidyne made RAD installed this week, so hopefully that helps alot.
