Default bumper damage

i got hit in a parking lot and the front portion, under my right head light has a crack in it about 7 inches long. Is this something that could maybe be fixed or is it something that the whole bumper has to be replaecd. i dont have a digital camera so i cant post pictures just wondering on choices before i pay too much. as for insurance... 2000 deductable... if anyone has any ideas let me know. im heading off to college in a month and need to save all the money i can but this crack is ugly. car is a 97 5th gen. thanks in advance

edit: its the bumper, the crack starts at the top and runs down, on the corner of the bumper at what seems to be a presure spot that caused it to crack, dont thnk it was hit hard though only a little color of the other car was left.

yes it can be fixed, there should be some bumper
places around that can fix and refinish it for around $75

or you could get one from certifit for around $60 shipped

either way you're stilll gonna have to get it repainted though

thanks for the info

would looking at an aftermarket one be a bad idea in respect to cost? im looking at ones that are oem looking but maybe a little more aggresive.

get a stock one, it will be better quality, especially for the price if you can find a used one
