what wires do you tap into so when you turn your headligths on the oil pressure gauge lights up(EK)

does any1 have a daigram or can tell me how to hook up the m-300 in my obd2 converted 2 obd1 harness i bought this used and no diagram came with it

Tap into the hot side (+12V coming in) of your dimmer switch. If you hook into the switched side when you dim your dash lights the oil pressure gauge lights will actually get brighter. Weird how it does that. but that's how it is in my EM1.

 

so you acually dont have to tap into the switch you turn your headlight on and off with just the dash lights dimmer switch?
