Default Help - Car leaking coolant?

yesterday my dads car's headlight got jacked so i decided to go to the junkyard to pick some up. drive was about 20 miles to and then another 20 miles back. (it was 90 degrees so i used a/c)

when i come back home, i noticed my car was leaking a clear fluid, smelled kinda sweet like coolant. (it was leaking droplets when the car was hot, since it has cooled down its like a drop every few seconds.)

here are some pics:

my question is, where is the coolant coming from? and how much would it cost to fix it?

help is very appreciated.

A number of place, radiator itself, radiator cap, hoses, at the firewall connection to the heater core.

Look in the enging bay when its warmed up for signs of where its coming from.

looks more like water coming from the evaporator. if it's leaking that far back. but if it is for any case antifreeze, i would guess it would be a heater core or hose for one of the coolant passages. what car is it?

Could it just be condensation? Lots of A/C's do this, but I dont know if Hondas do(mine doesn't). Is your coolant low?

Hes got a coolant leak.

Best thing to do is just look around the engine bay for sings of a leak. Another good idea, have the system presssure checked at the radiator cap.

after i placed a cup under the car, the water came out clear. my mechanic say its nothing.

run the car while it's parked
and see where it collects on the bottom

Then crawl under and look at where in the engine bay it's coming from

Oh well, I was just going off the info he gave. But yeah, it was just condensation from the condenser.
