Default losing coolant slowly, help help

heya guys.

i just noticed that my car is losing coolant after i drive it a couple of times, its not much but you can definetly tell that the coolant level isnt what it was before

i just changed the headgasket like 800miles ago with OEM gasket

when say i drive like 2 hours, the coolant level on the resevoir bottle stays the same, it does not go up at all or down

i have changed the radiator cap with a brand new one and im running PWR radiator

waterpump and thermostat also has been changed like 1200miles ago

car does not smoke at all and there is no coolant burning smell

the only thing i can think of is the upper radiator hose, i notice that after i drive the car the upper radiator hose whole swell up on the bend that goes to the block

other than that i can not find any coolant leaking on the ground

please help me

Have you done a pressure test ? You can tell real quick if you have a hose leaking , radiator could be slightly cracked , etc . . . Have you also done a leakdown ?

replace the radiator hose, check the water pump for cracks and check the weep hole on the water pump.

Make sure all of ure coolant hoses have clamps at each end. it may seem tight when its cold but at normal operating temps the hoses tend to stretch out a bit and may cause leaks.

hey guys

my car still losing coolant slowly

i have changed both radiator hoses and changed all the clamps

ive done compression test, they all around 200psi~ish, leakdown test also has been done, when my mechanic did the leakdown test, he took off the radiator cap off and there was no bubbles what so ever coming from inside the radiator

we pressure tested the cooling system as well to 16psi, the pressure holds still

but the damn car still losing coolant

please help me, this is very confusing

Do you have any whitish residue anywhere around your motor area? That's a sign of coolant evaporating.

Most likely a coolant line somewhere isn't clamped down all the way good or it has a crack in the hose.

It may only show up when your beating up on the car and the pressure rises in the system but cruising it doesn't show up.

my coolant doesn't bubble until the car is warmed up.. i'm losing coolant all the time.. my catch can has a very nasty residue build up of whitish jelly crap..

any other ideas of what's going on? I dont have any clear signs of a blown head gasket, ie white smoke, puddles under the car etc.. this is getting very annoying..

do you have ARP head studs? aftermarket sleeves? watercooled turbo?

as for bleeding it you want to have the front end slightly elevated so that it is the highest part of the system

my car has always slowly lost coolant. id say i fill the reservoir up once or twice a week, maybe every 500 miles give or take. i contribute a lot of it to my aftermarket sleeves...

Your car is probably just burning it very slowly so you can't really see smoke.
