GSR Throttle body?!..
I have a 97 B18C1, which throttle body size am I suppose to use, 60 or 62 mm? to fit on the stock intake manifold. And/or what size bigger TB can i go with on the stock intake manifold? Thanks!
ditch the stock manifold, it is very rextrictive and I have read threads about the turblent flow that it has due to the butterfly's being closed below 6000 something rpms
Blox, Skunk2, AEBS intake manfiold's are cheap if you find them used, and have a 65mm inlet at the manifold, they will increase high end and back up any aftermarket cams very nicely if you plan to modify your engine further down the road

I actually plan keeping it stock other then I/H/E and chipped ecu which I already have. I plan on selling the car so don't need to spend extra on aftermarkets
..but plan on getting an AP1(S2K)
. But what size would fit on the stock intake manifold? Say if go with aftermarket TB but stick with stock mani. thanks for the info!

There is no point in getting an aftermarket TB if the port on the stock intake mani doesnt match it. What benefit would u get from putting on a 65mm TB when the stock port is 60mm. U either have to widen the port on the mani to match, get an aftermarket intake mani, or dont bother with it at all since u said u are going to sell it.
I would use a micrometer to measure the size of the inlet to the manifold, but if youre selling it I wouldnt get an aftermarket throttle body
If yu really want a bigger one send the stock TB out to maxbore and get it bored out to the biggest you can for the stock manifold and it is only $100

Well, actually i just need a replacement throttle body, the TPS sensor on mine has malfunctioned according to the CEL code 7. So i was thinking to just get an aftermarket one if the OEM or stock one was nearly the same price. Having trouble finding a used one.

I am in 626 area code
I believe its a 94-95 but the sensors use the same plugs as 96-01. THe only diff is the FITV valve that only came on the 94-95 models. Either way its a straight bolt on, the FITV will just use the coolant lines going into your TB right now.
