well i was driveing today and came to a stop sign, started goin go to about 2500 if that in first started to shift and all teh suden car boged and died, so i started it back up and just died, hasn;t starte since.. it has spark on all 4 plugs, and gas in all 4 cylinders, and timing is good checked it like 3 times.. sprayed starter fluid too and it didn;t start .. im out of ideas guys.. please help im open to anythign at this point

 

If you are certain it has spark and fuel, have you tried attempting to start the engine with the throttle open ... say 25%?

That way we know it's getting air (?? My guess.. but it couldn't hurt to try).

check for any CELs?

But yeah if you for sure have spark, and fuel then what's missing is air but that seems to obvious to the answer, but it won't hurt to do the throttle at 25% or so just to see.. I'd try it.

 

it's not throttle thanks for response tho.. i got my answer i have to change teh ignitor tomorow.. yes it has spark and fuel 100% and no cells

 

why do you have to change the ignitor if you're getting spark?

Sorry maybe I don't understand the ignition system as well as I could..

 

was the coil.. it got fried

 

back from teh slightly dead, since im going through this right now. can there really be spark if the coil or ignitor are bad?
