04 Kicker solo-baric L7 15's. bump, but not like i expected
so i have two 4 ohm (wish they were 2 ohm)kicker solo-baric L7 15's in a seperated box with somewhere around 6cu.ft. of airspace. (not counting the polyfill) im pushing them both with a 700Wx2 2 ohm stable Boss Amp, runnin off a "crappy walmart issue" 1 ferad capicitor. they are wired in parellel as well.
now they do hit pretty damn loud, but not as loud as i expected. i do need a crossover still but that aside... any ideas? should i get a bigger amp, better name brand maybe? (kicker amps are damn expensive) or what if insted of one spkr per 700w channel, i bridge the channels and hook both subs up to both?
in the end i want earth-shaking bass, good responce, and the amplifier to not catch on fire. lol leme know what u think.

Second that! And that can be pricy.

^^same Question as this guy. Your not going to get the right sound out of thoses speakers with a prefab box. close but no cigar.

i also suggest having a ported box. i started off with a sealed box sounded ok than my buddy made me a custom ported box and you def can tell a big difference

-Tt</TD></TR></TABLE> OK, a few things first, The Kicker S15L7 is a 1000W (RMS) sub, you have 2 of them, you need an amp that will make 2000W RMS into 1 ohm or 4 ohms, or 2 1000W RMS into 2 ohms, The recommended SPL vented box is 6 cuft plus port volume for each sub.
What is the model of you Boss amp?.
