Default Q's for those who may know...............

Just wondering, does anyone know where I can look up for a "Bazooka" tube-style enclousure for sale. Have been searching around online and havn't found much. I know I've see them made out of fiberglass before. Looking for a certain size to replace a "original" Bazooka" thats beat. I was given a JL 8" W3 and figure I could just buy an encloseure and mount the sub.

thank you in advance~Bert

~yeah, my spelling suck

I tried that before and the sound of the sub was bad. Put that sub in a small ported box and you will be very impressed

can't force a sub into the wrong box...build a box for the sub and it will sound good - anything else is just a crap shoot.

very true, just don't want to used up the space that i have right now. currently the tube is located behine the passanger seats floor, which is a good spot.

a few months ago, ran into a local, whom disappear, had something similiar to what i'm looking for. however, it sounded really good.

i went to JL websites and got all the information on the 8" W3 specs for the size and realize it may work but like you said, it may sound like a$$

thank you for the inpputs guys

I have made more then a few "sub box's" for 8" JLs out of 10", [12" for 10" subs and 15" for 12" subs] plastic water main pipe for boats, it works very well when JLs box volume recommendations are used, I router a I" MDF plug for one end and a 1" MDF ring for the other end, glue and screw the plug and ring into the pipe and as long as volume is correct and end plug and ring are properly installed they sound great. 94
