Hey so i just got a 2000 civic Si. It's blu and only has 60k.
It's going to be my daily driver as i have my old nissan as a track ****.

I was wondering what service i need to perform on the car to keep it running somoth (besides oil and air filter)

The first major stuff that needs to be done is the timing belt and water pump at 80-90k miles. Before that, make sure the plugs and wires, cap and rotor and coil are all in good condition and you'll be set. A transmission service wouldn't hurt either.

the Si is a nice DD, i'd like that or a teg...their both kinda pricey ATM thogh

 

yeah also go get yourself a nice alarm and wire up some kill switches, auto-lock and detachable steering wheel.

 

As Archidictus said, that's the basic tune up, maybe once a year... Also look into check engine lights ASAP so it doesn't wear something out.. 'tis about it, relatively low maintenance cars...

I envy u w/ the B16 as my D16 makes me cry :-P - nice color, and mileage btw

I dunno if i want to spend the money on an alarm.... it has the honda one with the vallet thing in it and i have full coverage insurace.
I got the car for 6k.... so dont mind gettin paid if it goes missing.

I have a club for school and it's parked in the garage.

omfg.. 6k? how did i get my sol for almost 8?? we do have the same engine though yay b16 it might cause mine is an isle green. congrats on the civic i &lt;3 th blue color
