Default parking brake pin

Seized where it's attached to the caliper. Anyone know a trick on how to get it out?

yes, I took the cotter pin out but the pin won't budge. it's rusted in there pretty good. the cable and everything is fine it's just the caliper that needs to be replaced and this pin is holding me up

Pedal feels spongy, I don't know if it's because of the new brakes and it's just in my head or if there is still air in the system. I didn't bleed the front after I replaced the rear maybe that's the problem.

On one side of the pin, place a socket with an inside diameter that's bigger than the outside diameter of the pin. Tighten the c clamp which is fastened to the pin on one side, and socket on the other side. The pin will move with enough clamping pressure. The clearance you've provided with the socket gives the pin room to slide down. Then tap the rest of it out. </TD></TR></TABLE>probably could have worked but I just drilled
